Little Update

Hey all! Just wanted to drop a quick line and let everyone know how life is going for us - not that anyone actually reads this blog, it's almost more like a personal journal or diary...

Nicole has a new Accenture client: VMware, in Palo Alto. Jesse is obviously very jealous, even though she's not working in the same capacity as he would want to. Still, it's a fun behind-the-scenes job at a cool tech company. Woot.

Jesse has transferred Starbucks stores to a location much closer to the new apartment. It's also in a geographic area that should provide MUCH more upward mobility, so keep your fingers crossed. It's still making lattes, but a pay raise would be freakin' rad.

Otherwise, all is well if not financially tight. Lucy the yorkie is maturing into a fine young woman (she's 3 1/2 and still loves to smell her butt), our cat Gizmo is lazy like all cats but very affectionate in the mornings and evenings, and we no longer have to deal with skunks under our house. Yay!!!

Take care, stay tuned, I'll keep y'all posted...

Well, we're moving! As of July 24th we will be living in a very excellent apartment complex just inside San Jose called "Avalon at Cahill Park." We are so excited it's ridiculous. After six years of living together, Nicole and I will finally have: a dishwasher, a disposal, a decent sized fridge, our own washers and dryers, respectable neighbors, reserved parking, modern appliances, a home with more than two rooms, consistent internet access and reliable cell phone coverage, and ... a cat. Seriously, his name is Gizmo and he's the sweetest old persian cat ever (once he gets to know you, otherwise he's quite shy). He'll be coming with us, so we're gonna need an indoor cat shitter, or "litterbox" in layman's. It must be terrible to be a layman, yeah?

So ... we're bouncing outta this beez, moving to: 754 The Alameda, San Jose, CA. Booyah.

The dog is on my lap, willing me to get off my computer at 12:58am after I've been at work for the last 8 hours. Time for some sleep. Peace. You ain't said nothin' but a word, and I'm Audi 5000. See you on the flip side, time to dip, I gotta roll. I gotta split, it's been real, let's do lunch sometime, have your people call my people. Aight, dogg, we 'bout to be up outta this bitch. Forgiveness please, we must depart.
Lates,
Jesse and Nicole and Lucy and Gizmo

Saint Charles, IL

Well, she's gone. Off to Saint Charles, Illinois! Nicole will be there from today (April 18th) until April 30th. Jesse has been alone for a mere 12 hours and is already bored to tears. Check his public Google profile buzz to see how he's been occupying his time...

While in Saint Charles, Nicole will be staying at a former college turned corporate training facility, the Q Center. Her hotel room is roughly the size of a New York kitchen, which is roughly the size of a postage stamp.

So now Nicole has to sit through nearly two weeks of redundant training and Jesse has to figure out how to not go crazy. Stay tuned for revelations from the brink of reason.

Thank us Brahman for cell phones and the internet.

Fortified with vitamins and minerals,

The Latest Buzz

Hey everyone! How are things? We're doing awesome -- Jesse just pulled cookies out of the oven about 3 minutes ago...

We had a small scare last week when Lucy escaped from the front yard and made her way down the street to a local pet store, Pet People. Many, many thanks to the wonderful people working at Pet People who saw her, grabbed her, took her inside, and decided to go get her chip scanned. By chance Nicole was walking by the store looking for Lucy when she spotted a lady holding our dog! Scary scary scary. But all is well now, safe and sound.

Nicole's job at Accenture is humming along nicely. She's all done with her San Francisco-based training and she's now doing more training at her home office location: San Jose. Jesse has started working a second job in addition to Starbucks. So we're definitely keeping busy here!

Lots of big things in the next few weeks / months: we'll be moving, we're getting a car, officially adopting our neighbor's cat, etc... Lots of stuff, so check back here to stay up-to-date.

Magically delicious,
J & N

Off to Accenture!

Nicole started her new job with Accenture today! She'll have to spend a few weeks training in San Francisco, then a couple more weeks training in Chicago. Ultimately her homebase will be in San Jose, but that's a good 5 weeks of training and orientation away. Accenture got lucky!

Stay tuned for more action-packed updates...

Hello (again), world.

Well, it's been a long friggin' time since we last updated our blog here. Today's will not be a long post, simply a quick log-in to post this brief message and to announce this:
Our luck has changed, the tide has turned, and we're gonna grab this world by the nuts.

Thanks,
